Milk Rant

I have been reading about weaning... We have almost made it to 1 year! We have had our ups and downs. I am relived that it is almost over. I plan on cutting her off as quickly as possible.

I have tried to give her a little cow milk and she hates it. She is also not a fan of yogurt.

As someone who also hates milk I understand. Why do I hate milk, it tastes gross and I do not digest it well. It makes my stomach cramp up. I also can not do yogurt. Soy milk is too sweet and chalky. I can do ice cream, chocolate milk, and other dairy products very sparingly.

Although when it comes to cooking and baking I love milk.

I have been reading and have come to the decision that the human body was not meant for cows milk to be as big a part of our diet as it is.

So what are we going to do.
More research
Talk to her doctor
and

Carrot juice
soy
spinach
beans
kale
oats
peas
brown rice

possibly a calcium supplement powder

when I started writing this I thought it was going to be more intriguing but no it is kind of blah

Getting So Big

Allyson took a few steps today!

She also says "Dada".
Says "kissss" for kitty.
Does sign language for food.
Says "whats that?" over and over.

Says "umm umm" when she wants what someone else is eating.
She also slept 5 hours straight last night which she has not done in a very long time!

She is getting so big!

We finally got her expensive crib we ordered over 2 months ago!
She isnt a fan but is learning to like it.

An apple

 This morning while I was cleaning up in the kitchen I moved the baby gate sat a bag of apple that were getting old (but still ok just a little soft) on the floor. Allyson got one and I said she could play with it while Ty held so I could vacuum the living room. I didnt see it again. Not very long ago I was eating an apple and Ally was watching me, I gave her a few little bites. She went on her way crawling around and ended up between the couch and the kitchen and was being very quiet. She was sitting with her back turned to me I ask what she was doing after a little bit she held out the apple. I figured it was ok so I let her play with it. A few minute later I heard her chewing. She had taken a few little bites out of the apple and was eating more. My crazy baby will be ONE in 5 weeks!

10 months!

We finally got a couch!
Can you believe this little cutie will be 1 in just under 2 months?

She actually has so much hair it is pinned back because it goes past her eyes

My grandpa's Birthday is Valentines day

Miss Allyson is 9 months old now!

She all of a sudden stopped screaming during bath time and loves to play in the water now!

Ally's first snow ( it snowed one other time in the middle of the night and melted before morning so she missed it)

we had about 8 inches!

we did not get the crazy ice storm that hit south of us

I love Picnik photo editing so i gave in and signed up for a year of their premium options then a week later the announced it is now free and everyone was getting a refund. This is because they are moving to google+ i do not think i like that.  

Cat toys are funner i guess... so i hid them in the cat tower and she found them yesterday so i moved them up higher

I am so tired... Allyson does not sleep at night... If I rock her to sleep then lay her down she wakes up screaming a terrible painful scream... This might be because she is sleeping in a pack n play while we wait for her expensive "Made in USA" Young America crib to come in... It is taking forever... So I end up holding her and not sleeping myself... This started after her bottom teeth came in and when her top teeth started to come in... she loves her puffs and cheerios... she has been crawling stomach off the ground for about 2 weeks... she scooted around on her on her stomach for a little over a month before that... her hair is in her eyes so i put it a lot of the time... she is so cute... and a happy little thing when she is not tired and fighting sleep...  we went in for her 9 month check up on the 26th... she is a little thing and weighs 15lbs 8oz... I did also and am very sad to see it go we are 15 degrees warmer tonight than last night
but really I love the snow!
we are now running low on bread and milk and things like that so
Ty is stopping at the store on his way home from work
