Allyson is 2 and The Great Wolf Lodge

After pancakes for breakfast we took Allyson to Decoursey Park. To see the ducks and play on the swings and slides. On Saturday we had some family over for dinner.  I decorated with Minnie Mouse ears. I made these awesome dinner rolls to use as buns for chicken sandwiches. We had just bought 40 lbs of chicken from Zaycon Foods. It is great chicken.

Our trip to the Lodge was a late birthday present for me a late anniversary trip and for Allyson's birthday. Ty's mom and sister also went. Every room was booked so it was packed for a Sunday night. Allyson stayed up until 11:30pm to tired to sleep. Brennan slept in until 10am so it worked. It took Allyson a while to warm up to the water. The little kid pool which has a zero depth entry and a max of 18inch was great. My MIL sat with the babies while we went on the big slides and in the wave pool. I got my aquaphobic little girl to walk into the wave pool while it was calm until her life jacket started to float and bother her. Although we could stay until 9pm we had to leave around 3 because Ty had to work Monday night. I am not sure it was worth it but we had fun!

 

Happy Easter

On Saturday we had an egg hunt my sister put on at my grandparent's with cousin Mya and Brandon a neighbor. On Sunday we didn't make it to church :( Dinner at Ty's grandparent's was early at 2.

Valentine's Day St. Patricks Day

Wrote on 4/27/2013 My grandpa's birthday is valentines day. He has been through so much the last few months. His surgery in December was not successful. Because of that he had daily radiation therapy for I don't even remember how long but it was like 2 months. He recently spent 4 nights in the hospital with kidney failure caused from nit not being able to keep anything down and medications dehydrating him. He was just starting to feel better after that so he went to a friends house he opened his friend's trunk and bees few at  him he fell, his face is scratched up along with a hand and foot. His doctor said that with the issues he has had recently he should for go any more treatment.  He had already decided that he did not want to do any more.

(4/29/13)Allyson came to me night (Wednesday) before bad one night crying my nose. She had struck something up it. Ty took her to the ER we need to remember to just go to Mary Bridge with the kids for now on. They tried and tried and couldn't get it out. We had no idea what it was. They got us in with an ear, nose, and throat doctor the next morning. She tried and tried and couldn't get it. We decided she needed to be sedated. They scheduled an operating room on Monday. I decided it was the tip of a color wonder market she had bit off. We got there at 6am for pre op stuff. They took her back in a wagon at 8am at 8:20 the doctor came out with the culprit. It was the tip of the marker and a small hair band. We went to hold her in post op. She was awake and screaming. She had to be awake for 30 minutes before we could leave so we left by 9am. I have now reviewed all the bills, the 20 she was in the OR cost $10,000...WOW. We will end up paying under $600.
You would never know the little girl in this picture had been in the ER for 3 hours the night before and in the doctor's office all morning getting her nose picked at.

Brennan is 2 months old

we moved into our own place again. We got a place just over a mile down the road from my family. It has a large garage for Ty's car projects. He has 3 cars taken apart in it.

Late Wednesday (1/16) night I felt so uncomfortable. Around midnight I started to feel light contractions. I emailed Ty that was the only way I could contact him at work. He had been checking at least every hour since 37 weeks, I told him I thought this could be it and I would let him now by 12:30 he never replied. I still wasn’t sure then so I said I would let him know at 1am. My contractions we only 30 seconds but getting closer together. Ty never replied, at 1:30 I woke my grandma up and emailed one of Ty's co-workers asking him to tell Ty I was going to the hospital. He replied about 25 minutes later saying he told him. It was a very cold and icy night my grandma drove so slow. I checked in at the ER at 1:59. I turned down a wheel chair and walked to the birth center. Bad idea, the escort walked so fast. I put on a gown in the triage room and went 3 steps to the bath room during the 3 steps back to the room I felt a pop. My water broke I was feeling constant pain and was fully dilated and wanting to push. The nurses seemed very upset with how fast things were going they were very stern and told me I could not push yet. I was also to far along to have an epidural. They moved me to a delivery room and got a doctor to come right in. I pushed and pushed. Stopped a few time to say "I can't do it" and "It hurts" funny right? :) My poor grandma was holding my hand the entire time. I was suffering from a terrible cold so I had to have oxygen. Brennan was born at 2:25am. Less than 3 hours for labor and less than 30 minutes at the hospital. That was an experience. Ty got to the hospital around 3am, he was surprised to walk in to the room and find me holding our baby boy. They made me take a drug test because he came so fast. We got to go home on Friday.
